Synopsis
Mama's Girls 2 Sugar Ain't Sweet is the hilarious stage play by award winning playwright Garrett Davis with a foucs on diabetes.
Ke-Ke (ChanNel Young), Bre (Kynya Milam), Paulette (LaTonya Simms), Baby Girl (Julie Logan) and that trash talking Ruthie May (Samantha McSwain), are all back plus two new characters have been added to this hysterical stage play. Alicia (Sonia Pape) Baby Girls best friend brings a funny hispanic twist along with Michael (Deion Jones) Baby Girls fiancee'.
Making a stellar debut is Jasmine (Keya Hamilton) as Baby Girls blood sister who storms on the scene fighting for a relationship with her sister while Mama's Girls fight for their position in the life of Baby Girl as she now has to change her life style after being diagnosed with diabetes.
Mama's Girls 2 Sugar Ain't Sweet is another thought provoking urban stage play by Gdavis Productions who has paretnered with The American Diabetes Association to raise the awareness of diabetes in the African American community.
